We expanded our office space in the r2p headquarters in Flensburg to accommodate our growing team of dedicated problem solvers. Project Management is now operating from a brand-new team office. The team already made themselves at home and have equipped the new Project Management workspace with office plants and a coffee machine.

Project Management Assistant Julius Bahr and Junior Project Manager Kevin Eckmann joined r2p in 2019. We asked Kevin and Julius a three questions about their new tasks at r2p.

Why r2p?

Julius: “I like that r2p is an innovative company. They operate in a fast-growing and future-oriented industry. Working in r2p gives me the opportunity to help shape the future. And all that in a friendly and young team!”

What means project management for you?

Kevin: “Project management includes many different responsibilities: from planning and execution to controlling and supervision of processes and tasks - in project management you do it all. Every project, every day is unlike the one before, and I enjoy the challenge of finding solutions to any problems that might occur. But also communication with customers and colleagues is a big part of the game.”

r2p stands for efficient and sustainable public transport. What is your favourite mode of transportation?

Julius: “My bicycle! In Flensburg, everything is close by and you get where you want fast by bicycle. I can cycle past the rush-hour-traffic and never have to worry about parking. For longer distances I prefer travelling by train, though.”
