We are happy to announce a new order from CAF for the first six trainsets of a total fleet of 37 narrow-gauge trainsets.

CAF issued an NTP to supply CCTV solutions for 31 trainsets for the RENFE FEVE line and six trainsets for the RENFE ALPINO line operating in Spain. The contract with r2p is part of a frame agreement for CCTV for the next four years, and the order consists of the following components:

• Forward Facing (CD2-I cameras)
• Saloon CCTV (CD9-I cameras)
• Rear-View Monitoring (Customized CD7-iS cameras)
• HMI’s Monitors • Crash-Proof Memory (SSD)
• Horizon Services

The implementation of the crash-proof memory is a premiere for r2p! The device is compliant with IEEE 1482.1-1999 and IEC 62625-1 standard and ensures data protection in case of an accident. According to the requirements of the international standard, it is resistant to fire, impact shock, penetration, static crush, fluid immersion, and hydrostatic pressure.
