Challenging the limits: r2p develops and supplies a new ground-breaking exterior camera

r2p was able to set new standards and developed a state-of-the-art exterior camera for the customer Stadler and their client RBS (Regionalbahn Bern Solothurn). The newly developed exterior camera, with a minimal height of only 26mm, has set a new standard in the industry, challenging the technological limits. The dimensions of the camera enable our customers to operate narrower routes without violating the structure gauge or to supply even more comfort to the passengers in wider compartments.

After a 2-year process, Stadler Bussnang AG chose r2p as partner due to r2p’s outstanding references from other Stadler divisions. In early 2017, Stadler Bussnang AG placed a first order with r2p for supplying exterior and interior CCTV solutions.

“We are proud to confirm once more that we can do more than supply hardware products. We are an innovative and versatile company, developing and supplying solutions, which makes us an ideal and future-oriented partner for cooperation”, says René Seliger, Project Director and Shareholder at the r2p Group.

The rapidly growing r2p Group, headquartered in Flensburg, Germany, operates internationally in 45 countries with subsidiaries in Denmark, England, Switzerland and Brazil. With a silent partnership in Taiwan, a sales office in the Czech Republic and local manufacturing in India, r2p takes pride in being a truly global company.

As a market leader, r2p has great passion and energy for developing and distributing software and hardware for rail and road vehicles, mobile video surveillance, PIS, PA, APC and telemetric solutions. Our experienced Swedish investor Alder AB, with an investment volume of more than €110 million, provides us with on-going support for our mission.
