r2p announces a new order from UniControls for supplying an onboard CCTV solution for the Siemens Vectron.
With the new order r2p will supply security and surveillance equipment for eight Siemens Vectron locomotives, which are going to be operated by Cargo ČD in Eastern European countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania as well as in Austria).
The project will start within the next days and will run until early 2018. The installation will include a combination of IP-based and analogue devices – with pantograph monitoring cameras (CA10) including illumination kits. For this complex set-up r2p’s high-performance recorder R8C will be used to record images and data.
This is the first project between UniControls and r2p. Flemming Kaer, r2p’s Director of Sales and Marketing, says: “We are very happy that we could secure our first project for UniControls to equip the Siemens Vectron with our CCTV products. Thanks to our new office in Prague we are now much closer to our clients and partners in Eastern Europe and we can support our customers on-site.”
