Seven years after the first tender, we are finally happy to announce that r2p was chosen as a supplier for a large project for Hamburger HOCHBAHN, the biggest public transport operator in Hamburg, Germany.

r2p is going to equip 126 subway cars with our CCTV solution consisting of:

• 126 x Recorder R16-X dual incl. 2 SSD each
• 1008 x CD8-i 360° Camera
• Data IT & Security Services
• Fleet Management System
• Classic r2p Project Management and Project Engineering Services, including development services by R&D
• Customer Training
• Installation Services
• and some more peripherical stuff such as switches and docking stations.

One smart aspect of the customized solution is a box to store the recorder, the switch, and the router. It can be placed under the seats and enables Hamburger HOCHBAHN to access the hardware for maintenance easily.

The project implementation will immediately start (September 2021) and is estimated to be up and running by March 2025.
