r2p secures a new order from Schweizerische Bundesbahnen (SBB) for supplying a complex CCTV system. The company succeeded in a call for tenders – one of the biggest tenders on the European market within the last years. In total, more than 4,000 cameras will be delivered to SBB.
Furthermore, SBB placed a new order for 100 CCTV systems with r2p. This decision was facilitated by the fact that a prior order placed with r2p proved the technical reliability of the technological solutions over a span of three years.
Within the last two years r2p developed a whole new camera range, meeting modern security standards. Since its market launch in September 2017, already more than 15,000 cameras of the new range have been sold globally. There is no greater compliment, the customers could make the engineers and developers at r2p.
“I am pleased that our innovative camera range CD9-X won in one of the biggest calls for tenders of our industry. Also, a long-term cooperation with our customers, such as SBB, is a great motivation for us to constantly improve our performance: We are not content until our customers are completely satisfied,” says René Seliger, Project Director and Shareholder at r2p.
