This is a permanent role for a finance professional with deep technical expertise, and the drive to professionalize and scale group accounting. You will report directly to the CFO and also manage group-level financial topics across an international structure.

This is how You Make a Difference
As Group Accounting Manager, you will develop both the local accounting function in Germany and the group accounting setup. You will drive financial structure, governance, and improvement initiatives across the organization, in close collaboration with your peer – our Team Lead Business Finance. Your key responsibilities will involve:
Group Accounting & Consolidation:
- Own and continuously optimize the group consolidation process – including intercompany reconciliation and reporting structures.
- Align and maintain group accounting principles and policies (HGB and local GAAPs).
- Lead the implementation and ongoing use of the group consolidation tool.
- Ensure timely, accurate and audit-ready monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
Year-end, Cash Management & Projects:
- Drive short-term cash forecasting and liquidity planning for the German entities and the group.
- Ensure audit readiness and coordinate year-end processes.
- Support the CFO on selected strategic finance projects.
You are
- structured, execution-focused, and you thrive in a dynamic environment.
- proactive and able to work both strategically and operationally.
- working confidently across group-level challenges and local operational needs – and you take pride in delivering high-quality financial reporting and compliance.
What You Bring to the Table
- A degree in accounting or auditing – ideally with experience from audit or a group finance function.
- A strong technical accounting expertise.
- Deep knowledge of HGB, accounting processes and group consolidation practices.
- Strong system and ERP implementation skills.
- Fluent in English and German – both written and spoken.
