Passengers are captured and counted by the camera when entering and leaving the vehicle. When captured, each passenger is assigned an individual ID. Since the CD8-i covers the entire interior of the vehicle with its 360° panoramic view, this ID allows for precise tracking of all passengers throughout their journey.
This comprehensive coverage means that, in addition to conventional passenger counting, numerous other data point can be captured. CAPA enables the accurate collection of information on passenger dwell time, wagon occupancy, people flow and much more through detailed video
